RB my daughter said to me last night "Dad you've loads of bottles, why don't you open some of them. "

My lovingly sourced collection is not going yet. And I had an Abunadh batch 15 last night.

Sad to see empty lately. Glenmo Quinta Rubin, Ardmore 1990 CS, T10, A10, Balvenie Doublewood, Ancnoc1993 and a Jameson nas.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to hit some supermarket deals.

My Caol Ila 12 recently departed.
My North Port 24 last night, so now to open a 26 and see what the difference is.
I also recently finished off an Ardmore, currently available distillery bottling which I found to be very drinkable, and by the way what a great tour they did for us last year.
Remarkable.

How many are you up to now Les?
Or aren't you telling?
(Or don't you know  :P ?)

Morning Nick. Mrs les reckons it must be at least 200. I don't know exactly I need to catalogue them properly.

Going to Sainsbury's this morning.

Just gave the royal salute to my bottle of Glenfarclas 15. Expensive here in Canada, but I would buy another! Need to order some into NY when the family goes camping this summer! NY prices are pretty much equal to the Duty Free!

LT, my wife says: "You've got so many empty bottles, why don't you get rid of them?"

How could I? such sweet memories...

Actually, I've started peeling off a few labels with the help of LFW's peeler kit. Not perfect. but a lot better than steaming !!

Oh, my "Paddy's" has finally died.

I brought the last of my Laph 10 on my out of state trip..and sadly it's gone. I will miss the sweet, peaty, smoky, fruit.

It is nearly 11 o clock on thursday April 23rd and I have finally finished off my last remaining Signatory bottling of a 1991 Mortlach, cask4165, bottle 20 of 339.
It was distilled 10/05/1991, bottled 16/10/2006 and I have been hanging on to it.
I am a Mortlach fan, but even so, this was a beautiful whisky, mellow and smooth, and I actually feel like I have committed a murder!!!! :(

Sad to see my Laphroaig 10 y/o empty since 2 weeks :(
...but I always leave the old bottle until a new one arrived!

(..and is it allowed to admit that I "wash" it with some tea? :coffee: )

I know some people might disagree but I really miss the last bottle of Ardbeg ANB that I drank. It was of the 18 year bottlings and I thought was fantastic.
