That alomost sounds like this may be kept as their Cask strength offering seeing that there were only 6000 bottles each of the first 2 and they lasted well over a year each on the shelves.

Yes, heard back from the importer, (whom of course is sooo, ha ha, motivated to sell Ardbeg, etc!) that he didn't mention not only is the Almost There available to order, but there are also some bottles of 1974 Ardbeg available too!

Is that right there was only 6,000 bottles of still Young released. It's still in the shops at its release price of £29.99. You would have thought that 6,000 would have sold by now.

It's because the importer has come up with the "bright idea" that noone in Norway will buy "demanding" whiskies during the summer - and easter brake? This is according to Onlymalts.com who are very trustable so I tend to believe them.

The man in charge of this kind of stupidity must surely be into sadism? What sensible person would do such a thing unless he's particularly evil?

Mr Fjeld the Apprentice starts tonight on BBC1 at the end of the program Sir Alan Sugar will say to the most incompotent one " YOU'RE FIRED ".

I can't believe you have to wait for such a stupid reason the man is a numpty and needs the sack. I feel sorry for you as we all know whisky is not just for winter its for life.

Well recieved an email from Milroys of Soho advertising a while stocks last price of £30 a bottle.

Alas Royal Mile doing it for £29.99

Out of principle I feel an order for two bottles coming on.

The usual smart marketing of the locals, always knowing what's best and what will sell, how to sell it, etc!!! People that will buy Almost There want to buy it NOW!! And not wait until September!! By then, gosh, they will have already gone to Scotland on their own to get it, and pay less for it!! Smart move eh.

Di Blasi if its not being released yet in Norway, can you not buy from the UK.? It was released here on Monday.

Yes, funny really! But then again the attitude and mentality towards alcohol here is quite childish and silly. And with the government allowing it by continuously keeping strict and tight laws and taxes, rather than educating on how to enjoy alcohol moderately and responsibly, it continues to go down the wrong track. It may take another generation to get us out of it.

Just took delivery of my first bottles of AAT from the good Folks of RMW . Must say that i like the green Label even tho it doesn't like camera flashes by the looks of it .
The packaging is great especially the well thought out and written comments on the former bottlings by what looks like extremely knowledgable experts in their field !
