Postby justdrinkin » Tue Apr 28, 2009 4:23 pm

I need some help,
I have some accross an unopened 1887 Gooderham and Worts Canadian rye whiskey. Bottle is in excelent condition and sealed. I can provide more information to anyone interested, I am wanting to check and see if this is something special...

Wow, that certainly is old. I have no idea about the rarity or value, but I can't imagine there being many around. The distillery (located in central Toronto) closed for good in 1990, and the area is now full of restaurants, galleries and small shops. A big Gooderham and Worts sign still hangs across the street. Definately worth a visit.
