I recently came across a case of Black & White in a Wooden Crate. The box containing the bottle is stapled together and has an inner cardboard sleeve. There are holly flowers on the outside of the box as well as the two dogs. The box has 'Black & White' Scotch Whisky "Buchanans" and 'The secret is in the blending and bears the royal warrant.
The bottle is wrapped in tissue paper and is labled on the front "Blended Whisky, Black & White, Special Blend of Buchanan's Choice Old Scotch Whisky" and signed James Buchanan and Co. Under that is the statement Scotch Whisky Distillers Glasgow & London and in smaller writing Glentauchers Distillery , Mulben, Speyside. On the back of the bottle is a diamond shaped label with a pircture of the two dogs sitting on a pedestal bearing the label "Black & White Scotch Whisky. A Blend and below that a further Horizontal label stating Distilled in Scotland and bottled in the United Kingdom under government supervision. Is there any value to this bottle?
