Basement Find - Trash or Treasure?

Postby Big Boston Broad » Tue May 26, 2009 2:05 am

I recently helped clean out my grandfathers basement and came across a few bottles of unopened whiskey. I was wondering if any of these were worth selling or if I should just enjoy them myself.

Canadian Club Whisky - 1972; 750 ML
" " - 1975; 750 ML
Canadian MacNaughton - 1977 750 ML
Calvert Extra American Whisky - Not Dated
Grants Blended Scotch Whisky - Not Dated 1.75 Liters

Any feedback is welcomed.

Thank you!

The canadian club and grants don't have a lot of value, probably yhe same if you went and bought them right now so drink up. Now I have never heard of the other two so I can't help there.

Throw a party and serve whisky cocktails only.

You should open them and enjoy them, or offer them to somebody else who can.
Altogether, you have maybe $50 (U.S.) of whiskey there.
