Ballantines 30 years 1950s decanter

Hello everyone, I just signed up here hoping that I can find out a little info on this. I discovered an old bottle of whiskey in my grandfathers storage today. I dont even know where to start to find out what its worth. It has to have been there since the 1950s. The box is in decent shape, there is the crystal top for the decanter still wrapped up inside it. The bottle itself is sealed, but sadly I can feel that the rim of the glass on the top of the decanter is broken underneath the seal.

any info would be greatly appreciated. I am really curious to know the value and where I could possibly sell this item. thanks!

The level is unfortunately quite low and was bottled for the US market. I don't know if the decanter is much sought after than the normal 30 YO, but it worths at least £100-120
