Millburn now sold.

I have a bottle of Port Ellen 20yo (1979 60.9%) from the same series if anyone is interested? Again looking for a quick sale as I am heading into London tomorrow to make some purchases!

Cheers and thanks for your responses.

I bought a bottle of Rare Malt Series 1969 Millburn for £74.95 last year at RoyalMile whisky.
I consider that a better bottle than the above.

You're probably right Gilles as if you do a little bit of research (which a lot of people can't seem to do) and google the going price in recent auctions and in shops seems to be £150-£180 so i would say £120 is a decent price before shops/Auctions add VAT/profits or fees .

i actually picked up a bottle of this tucked at the back of the shelfs at royal lochnagar distillery a few months back for £70ish, was the only one there and was shocked at finding it as it was one of the 4 bottles that were brought out at the start of the range way back in 95. was even more surprised at finding it when you consider that the first releases of the rare malts range were for duty free only.
guess diageio must have had some tucked away in a dark corner of a warehouse somewhere at the time and i got lucky.

You indeed were lucky V7 !
It's happened to me twice , i spotted a RM Craigellachie 1973 on Sohowhiskies site a couple of years ago , it was less than £50 so was snapped up !
When i was looking for the Brora 1977 RM's in Darrens TWS store i came across a 1975 at a very reasonable price !
The Brora has been drunk and the Craigellachie is a replacement for another i enjoyed .
It's amazing what you can find if you look deep enough , earlier this year i was looking for some Bunnahabhain and came across a couple of BBR bottlings i couldn't find any details on , i contacted Ed Bates at BBR and he was most surprised i found them as they sold out years ago ! The 1980 22yo was a bargain at £50 and it tastes superb!

Which version? You can find both Millburns (18 and 35yo) at whiskyauction.com's 2008~2009 auction sale history profusely. 120 € seems to be about the average for the 18.

Cheers!
