I believe the hammer price was £10k. (buyers commision is 17.5% on top of that)

Was very surprised with some of the prices being achieved yesterday, and, I am reliably advised, at Bonhams in London.

Some bottles seem to be going for more than they are currently available at retail.

Any ideas what is going on?

Tell me, I won 4 lots 15 JW bottles and for that GB300 just for hammer and VAT + GB45 for internet (?) I was
