What would be a fair asking price?

$ 400 + is pretty much the going rate.
Having said that, I personally would NOT let go of my "stash" for
even "obscene amounts of money", because I love the taste and experience
and once they're gone - that's it!
Suggestion - find someone that will take the money - not the whisky lover!
