Advice on Vat 69 please !

Postby melba1234 » Sat Oct 31, 2009 3:07 pm

Hi All
I've got a bottle of vat 69 old style with a wax seal on the front. It was from my Dad who was given it about 15 years ago who put it away & forgot about it ! Anyway I'm sure I'll be hung for saying this on here but I'm not a whisky drinker (!) so I wondered if it was worth anything or if anyone would be interested in buying it from me ?

Cheers
Mel :D

It's not worth a lot of money. I paid for such a bottle early this year about 40 €. I say drink it or give it to somebody who likes whisky.
I think it's quiet different from the recent bottlings, meaning, a lot better.

Get some friends to come round and have a party. You never know you may like the amber nectar and it could be the start of your collection.

Cheers John
