Old Malt Cask Pulteney.

Hello,

I have just been given a bottle of Old Malt Cask Pulteney.

It was distilled in 1964, bottled in 1999.
Making it a 34 year old with an abv of 50%.

The label says it is one of 197 bottles filled from cask.

It is a Douglas Laing bottling.

Can anyone please give me an idea of it's worth.

I believe this is a picture of your bottle, and this one sold on http://www.whiskyauction.com in August of this year for 305 Euros.

As for the value, I couldn't say if it is more or less than the auction price, but at least this is somewhere to start.

Thank you very much for the reply and the information.

That's the very bottle I have, and it is in the packaging, but the lid part is torn.
But, even so I'm very happy with that approx value.

Nice price fetched at whiskyauction. Bought one in a shop for the equivalent of 220 euros this year.
