FETTERCAIRN 1824 12 YEAR OLD

Postby Big Eck » Sat Jan 09, 2010 1:12 am

I understand that White & Mackay have stopped the Fettercairn 12 year old, my local whisky shop in Stonehaven have sold their last bottle, as have other retailers in the north of Scotland.
Do you think its worth buying a few bottles, Drinks Direct still have it for sale and they have a multi bottle deal, buy 2 bottles get £4.00 off.

What do you think of it as a dram.

Regards....Alec.

They may replace the 12 YO by another one, but that Fettercairn was not very sought after or specially remarquable. Unless you are ready to wait 10-20 years, don't expect a return on your investment unless you are ready to drink it.
