Re: Bush Pilots Rye Whiskey

I can't help with exactly Bush Pilot but I believe independent bottler Cadenhead's Canadian Indian Corn from Kelowna distillery British Columbia might be a close substitute. I work in their Edinburgh shop and have tasted the 3 expressions. It is not comparable to an American rye but more like a Scottish grain, I've never tried a Canadian rye except Lot 40 which I think is malted rye, this is closer to the Cadenehads bottling being much lighter and sweeter than US rye.
i hope this helps.
