It took 3 weeks for the Corry and than a few drips and drabs after that.
5000 if I recall.
Strange to go for such a high number as 12000. Given the bad reports thus far, todays PR diaster could mean a white elephant on the shelf.
I would like Ardbeg to do a discount on this now 10% for goodwill.

After taking 14hours and 50minutes to actually place an order then I think I deserve to make a few quid on a bottle!!!! Charging my going rate of £10 an hour plus costs, hmm, that will be £203 plus p&p

Saying that I have no intention of selling (my 2nd of) this bottling in any time soon, but I dont see the problem in people making some money by selling on. I have been a Committee member since the beginning (membership number is less than 50) and have bought, drunk & shared many of their bottlings. Should I deny others the opportunity to drink these whiskies? I still own many old & unopened committee bottlings which have appreciated in value, in part as a result of people selling on (and of course being an excellent whisky). If I am now to sell I could afford other whisky that is beyond my normal affordability. I would prefer to sell some bottles and buy something else I have not yet sampled.

The answer depends entirely upon whether or not your membership number is under 17. Saying it is under 50 is too broad.
