Hello,
I have recently found this site and wondered if anyone can help with the value of a bottle that i have inherited, that had been in my parent's drinks cabinet for as long as i can remembe [now 54 yrs old - me that is]?

We are moving to Texas soon and it will probably not be possible to take it, and others, with us. I would rather see if it has any particular value, and pass on to a collector, than just end up with several days of memory loss by disposing of in the usual method.

It has a secure, twisted wire-bound cap, and an unbroken paper seal. The label on the back includes the words "For more than 40 years to date (1947).."
Any help / interest in this item would be appreciated.

will drink it, and you can't take it with you
when you're gone..
