Postby PaulP » Sun May 30, 2010 9:36 pm

Just thought I'd ask if anyone, who was lucky enough to get one, would be willing to part with theirs? or if anyone knows of one for sale let me know.

Cheers,

Keep one thing in mind , these are going to fetch a premium , the release may have been 100 but 100 didn't make it out of the distillery......

I know it will go for silly money on ebay but its worth watching anyway.

I heard that too and I also heard that a good deal of the locals were queuing early to get a bottle including all the staff from duffy's bar, so I'm sure only a few dozen made it off the island.

I was there and couldn't lay my hands on one. Staff told me that people were queueing as early as 3 am
I found the Maltman's Selection a very good replacement.
At less than 1/3 of the price of the 25yo it is one of the best Bowies I ever drank.
Look out for that bottle and buy one if you can. There are 3000 out there and prices won't be that silly even on the secondary marketplaces. I think they sell it in the Bowmore Online Shop now, last week it was only available at the distillery.

cheers
