Hi folks, I'm new to the place, but I'll do my best to fit in.
The VAT 69 that I know is a cheap blend, that seems to feature in a lot of popular culture. Anyway, I've come across a number of bottles that are at least 30 years old, and still in reasonable condition. According to the label it was distilled in South Queensferry, Scotland (apparently the distillery is no more), and labelled for the Italian market. It has a red (plastic?) seal at the base of the neck.
So what I ask is this: could it be of any value or should I just crack it open with a friend to see if it's still any good?
