I have recently come into possession of a truly 'mystery malt'!!
There is only a label on the front and this is what it says
Single Malt Scotch Whisky
from the
Isle of Mull.
Distilled and bottled in Scotland.
This whisky has been specially bottled for the Shareholders of the Spirit of 1992 PLC
70cl 56%
And that's it, apart from the figures 01/888 on the back of the label which can only be viewed through the rear of the bottle.
The colour is pale straw.
I know it's a Tobermory/Ledaig but I've no idea how old this is, why it's not bottled as Tobermory/Ledaig, and the whole reason for being bottled in the first place!!
If anyone has any information on this I would appreciate it.
Thanks
