Hi All,
I have an old, unopened bottle of Old Overholt. This still had the seal and plastic wrap on it. The seal indicates that it is 1923. It is a 1 pint container of 100 proof. The back label indicates that it is for medicinal use only, which makes sense because this was during prohibition. Also, makes sense because my grandfather was a doctor as well.
After my grandmother passed away in 1998, we were cleaning out her basement and came upon 2 bottles of Old Overholt. My brother took one and I took the other. I never inquired about it, because I though it was pretty neat.
I can post photos or give you any info if needed. My question, would anyone know the range in value if I were to sell? The bottle is in good condition, but there is some wear of the label and plastic wrap due to previous storage. Thanks in advance for any help.
Paul
