68.5% after 11 years is just not going to happen when they bottle at industry standard 63.5%
Regardless whether Rob got the right ABV or not i''m going to throw a spanner in the works
Last friday night i was sitting drinking with the man who was manager at Ardbeg Distillery at the time of this spirits birth . We were sitting drinking the SMWS 33.91 (2000 Distillation) bottling which is at 64.4% , i asked him why this was so high as i thought 63.5% was the filling strength , turns out they did fill casks at higher ABV and that's from the horses mouth so to speak
BTW hoping to get the man and his business partner on the chat at some point to talk about his new venture at some point .
