John Haig & Co Ltd Dimple around 1970

Hi,
I have an unopened bottle of John Haig & Co Ltd Dimple (70 Proof, 26 and two thirds FL Ozs), which was presented to a family member in 1973. It is in the original box. I was wondering whether anyone could give me a valuation for this please?

Hi Sean and welcome to the forum.

I would value this at around £20 to £25. If you are wishing to sell then I suggest you try eBay or you could just drink it. I did come across a couple of bottles the other day, while at the Whisky Shop in Inverness, which were retailing at around £30 but you have to take into account that there is VAT and other overhead costs included in this price.

I agree with you John: don't expect more than £25-30. You can find them rather easily on ebay...
