Cardhu packaging

In the latest edition of Whisky Magazine David Broom makes reference to Cardhu Pure Malt in green packaging. I believe the SWA approved such packaging in an attempt to diffuse the furore which had arisen but did the product ever reach the shelves in the UK or abroad? :?

Saw bottles in the duty-free of Geneva airport a few months ago, so it did hit the shelves.
