There were two: one darker than the other £500+ is a common sale price for the lesser of the two.

I have seen bottles exchanging of hands last year for 750 euros each and in 2011 for over 1000 euros of the Springbank 1973 Cadenhead's Rum Butt 57.5%

There's one at 57.9% (the darker) and one at 57.5%, no idea of numbers.
The current WhiskyAuction is highlighting one of the 57.9% ones, it's currently sitting at 540E, I suspect it will go much higher. Recent results point to a 900E avearge for either bottling.

i must admit i was lucky enough to drink a single shot of this before i knew of the rarety of this dram the bottle know longer exists as far as i know there wasnt a lot left
in the bottle

Not many of these left on the market. - I got one here in the US..This one is mine!
Too bad I'm not a Single-malt drinker....I hear this is some damn good stuff
