Opened bottle of Old Grand Dad from 1950's

Hello All,
I recently found an old bottle of Old Grand Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. I am guessing it is a 1950's vintage, due to the Traingular shaped bottle and stopper. There is a bout a 3rd of the bourbon in there. I have not opened it or tried the bourbon. Is the bottle worth anything, and is the bourbon even any good. I am not a bourbon or whisley drinker. I found this bottle in the back of my grandparents cabinet. Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks.
