Sealed Vintage Jameson...Value?

I am more familiar with pre-pro American Rye and have limited knowledge about Irish Whiskeys.

This sealed bottle dates from the 1950's? (older? help would be appreciated). Fill is about 1/2" over the label. Any information would be appreciated -- age? approximate value? Thanks!

The Jameson is likely to be 1936-1948 (date ireland became a rep.), more below
