I found this old bottle of whiskey at an estate sale and am wondering how old it is and how much it's worth. It has a red label across the top. and a one quart sticker on it. It's 86 proof. I uploaded all of the pictures to Photobucket. Here's the link to them.

Your bottle dates to between 1977-1983!

This is known by the Tax Stamp markings:
In 1977, the US Govt removed the weight markings from the ends of the Taz Stamps, due to a revision of the legal weight standard in the US.
In 1983, the Red Federal Tax Stamp was discontinued from use in the US.
