Glenrothes 1973

I have found a Glenrothes 1973 in a shop but it is in the "open front and back" type packaging.
I can only find it on websites in the "tube" type packaging.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Are there different 1973´s?
It is priced at 150 euros. Is this reasonable.

Don't worry. The last Release of the Vintage 1973 came out in this paperbox style.
