Antique Bottle - Buchanan's Special 'red seal'

I have an empty bottle of Buchanan's special 'red seal'. the label reads: finest selected old scotch whisky as supplied to the house of commons. By warrant of appointment Distillers H.M the KING. I was wondering in anyone could tell me more about it. Possibly if it is worth anything to anyone.

Well.....I wouldn't know what it is worth, but if you consider throwing it away, please think twice and send it to me....I will pay for the cost.

Reason: I have a friend who enjoys a 'wee dram' and his surname is Buchanan.
