Matured... They just filled a couple of just used Laphroaig-casks with Rosebank New Make... As an experiement. I haven't opened it yet. I bought it on recommendation from the importer... Not heavily smoked, but still, it is supposed to have an Islay-zing to it. I'll try yo get some more information about it...

All these collections make me wish I lived in Europe. Seems like you guys get all the good bottlings. And you can fly to London for 17 Euros each way if all else fails.

I live at the *ss end of the whisky world and I know of several collections locally exceeding 600 bottles. You have a way better selection in California that we do so you have a pretty good opportunity for collection, don't you think so?

California is definitly one of the better states to live in if you want to collect. They have a great selection there compared to just about any other state.

There are some excellent collection here, but i came across this website while searching the web, and couldn't quite believe it, i'm affraif my german is non existent so i havent explored the site much, but from what i've seen its very impressive.

Definately something to aim for!!!!!!
