This is my first post. Thanks for the help. I have a bottle of Glenfiddich 50 yrs. I want to get a value and sell it.

The book "Collecting Malt Whisky" from 2003 says that when first released it was sold for £5000 a bottle. This cask was laid down between 1937 and 1939 and bottled in 1991 according to the book.

The one auction result the book shows is from 2001 and bottle No. 99 sold for £4300.

this whisky comes to uruguay because, a distrib. sale for dutty free a long time ago!!
