International Whisky Day 2014 - Charity Auction

Postby Iain Mcclune » Mon Feb 17, 2014 12:30 pm

Hello All,

Quite simply what the subject line says, I'm holding a charity auction on my website [www.whiskyauctioneer.com] for Interntional Whisky Day, all proceeds will be donated to IWD.

The auction will begin mid March (date to be confirmed)

The aims are quite simple - to further raise awareness of International Whisky Day while raising as much money as possible.

We've collated various bottles and other bits and bobs that individuals and representatives within the industry have kindly donated. If you would like to take part and donate a bottle for this auction please contact me on info@whiskyauctioneer.com.

The deadline is quickly looming for this I'm afraid.

Just to be clear all aspects of the auction will run as normal, all fees and charges will be donated to International Whisky Day.

I've worked quite hard to secure interesting lots from various sources but I would like to get nearer 40 bottles, I'm currently struggling to get over 20 at the moment. If you have any contacts/sources that you feel would support this cause please don't hesitate to let me know.

If you would like to know more about International Whisky Day please follow this link http://www.internationalwhiskyday.org/

To show you a few teasers at the moment:

1. Kilchoman Club Bottling 2013 signed by 'almost everyone' at the distillery
2. Vat 69 and a copy of The Band of Brothers
3. Glenfarclas 30 Year Old
4. A Managers Tour of Adelphi's new distillery when it is complete (after Augustu 2014)
5. Michael Jackson Blend and a variety of samples

Thanks all,

Iain
