I have a bottle of Scotch Whisky that was given to me by my grandfather, with a Canadian seal on it plus a wax seal that is unbroken. The front of the label says:
Grand Old Par
Real Antique and Rare Old
Scotch Whisky
Blended & Bottled by the Proprietors
McDonald Greenlees Ltd.
Distillers
Leith Scotland
The numbers on the Canadian seal are KW212237.
And on the back of the bottle is says Aged for 152 years. My Grandfather has had it for at least 20 years.
If anyone could tell me anything about this bottle of Scotch I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. After looking further, I saw that Old Parr has only been around since the early 1900's? I'll have to look closer at the bottle or is what I said previously correct?
