Glenfiddich whisky valuation service

A friend of mine has a bottle of 100 proof Kentucky Tavern bourbon, that was bottled in 1944 and is still sealed. He asked me to look into it's worth..so here I am. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated.. Thanks.

Hi Billymo

The collector's market for Bourbons is much smaller than for Scotch whisky. That is not to say there are no collectors; just fewer of them and therefore, values of Bourbon rarities are much less established. Bottles from the 1940s are not especially rare. Try your query on the bulletin boards of www.straightbourbon.com or maybe contact Martin Green via www.whiskybids.com
