If you have a collection with whiskies and such going back THAT far, I guess it would be wise contacting Chrsities or something? Image

I'm far from a specialist, but if you keep in mind that a 1861 macallan was auctioned at 20000 English pounds a few months back (numebrs might be a bit fuzzy here), I would sure inform yourself properly before selling it off to someone Image

Dear Abdel

I do collect and drink whisky for about ten
years. I am always looking for old bottles.
My collection is already about 4000 big
bottles, no miniatures. I am very interested
in having a look an your bottles. If they are
of interest to me, which I assume, I will
make you an good offer on these.

Best regards, Reinhard

Does anyone else hear the bells ringing? Image

Anyway, maybe we could get invited and organize field trip to Algeria and consume them? Image Heh, if they are still drinkable.

Kippis,

1957 &1961 unopened Crown Royal bottles

Postby bdraward » Sat Aug 17, 2002 2:34 am

Could someone please give me some information with regards to if there is any significant value or want for unopened bottles of Seagrams Crown Royal with the date/tax seals still in place over the caps. One is dated 1957 and the other 1961. The rear of the bottles state that it is a blend of whiskeys 12 to 30 years of age when bottled. Any information will be greatly appreciated
