1922 Canadian whisky shipwreck

Postby MGillespie » Mon Jan 09, 2006 3:57 pm

I received this e-mail today:

We are about to launch our band's new CD "Shipwrecked Whiskey" featuring the title song about the wreck of the Dresden in 1922 near Port Rowan Ontario, carrying 8,000 gallons of illicit booze.

I need to find the details I need to finish the CD art work or the copy. Do you know of the history of Corby's Special Selected and/or (East Coast Canadian) Old Crow ? I would be thrilled if someone could send me a picture of the bottles or packaging.

Hope you can help!

Dawn

I don't have any information that could help her, but if one of you does, please post it here and I'll point Dawn to this thread...

Thanks!

By the way, the CD is available now, and if you're interested, there's an interview with Dawn and you can hear the song in the new episode of WhiskyCast...
