Is Scotch Bottled In Lead Crystal 47-years Ago Safe?

I have a fifth of 30-year-old Ballentines scotch bottled in lead crystal that was purchased by my father in 1955. I was told that it may not be safe to drink due to the many years of exposure to lead crystal. Can anyone tell me if this is a genuine concern? Any ideas as to what it's worth?
