1969 Jim Beam Bourbon - San Diego Bicentennial Bottle

Postby paul » Tue Apr 08, 2003 11:22 pm

I just aquired a bottle of 1969 Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon. It is in a Ceramic bottle that was made for the Bicentinnial for San Diego California. It is unopened and still has the paper label over the cap. It was 110 months old at the time which places the age around 1960. Any idea of value? And how do you go about selling alcohol without getting in trouble. I actually had two but gave one away. Was that dumb?

You can sell alcohol, but it has to be sold as a collectable rather tahn for consumption. A good place to sell it would be ebay.co.uk but you have to register first.
As regards a value i would know sorry.
I also have a website for the collector called www.justminiatures.co.uk
