Postby irishwhiskeychaser » Thu Jun 29, 2006 1:14 pm

Hi all, I have noticed that sometimes people look to date their bottles and mention that on the label that the bottle has been by Royal Appointment to HRM bla de bla

Well here are the general dates for the various Kings or Queens that would have any significance in dating a bottle. just an FYI

Edward VII (1901-10)
George V (1910-36)
Edward VIII (1936) the King that never became King
George VI (1936-52)
Elizabeth II (1952-present)
