Ben Nevis 26yo

Just the other day I was surprised to see this wonderful whisky had disappeared from the market, and now it seems it is unavailable. Anyone know a source, anyne care to comment this whisky? Personally I found it to be an absolutely fantastic dram.

I last saw this at the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre - there are different bottlings which may be different, but I have found it fantastic. It was also extremely cheap at the SWHC bar!

Yyeessss, this is really, really good stuff, M.R.J.! Momentary I have one open and one as a back up (50,8% d. 1973 b. 1999 #355&356; 53,9% d. 1973 b. 1999 #756) I had indeed a hard time chasing after those bottles, and all my sources dried out over the last months, including bamber's links, I'm afraid :( . A few weeks ago a Swiss and an Austrian retailer still had some for sale though.
If you find one, go and get it!

Hello Bernstein,

I just managed to secure two bottles of this nectar for myself, thank you for the links! Both bottles will hopefully arrive safely, and will certainly find a safe home at my house. This is one to keep I think - it is a fantastic whisky which I feel lucky to have enjoyed, but now it is perhaps time to preserve the remainder for future whisky lovers!

The last bottle from scotchshop.de was sold out yesterday to some lucky person who lives in Belgium. Possibly whiskyworld.de still has some, but their asking price is quite high.

I am sure I saw some of these at WoW in Stansted airport yesterday.

I will hopefully be flying back there on a one-day whisky shopping trip within the next few weeks, so I'll look out for them.

Check out http://www.worldwhiskyindex.com There is an auction of a Ben Nevis 26yo distillery bottling (well, it's more than one bottle). Google http://www.whiskyfinder.eu and surch for Ben Nevis 26. You'll see.
