Only that he dropped off the forum long ago (and long before Katrina). I presume he got sick of us being sick of his ranting. I'm sure we all hope he's alive and well and blasting Edrington Group to anyone who will listen.

If an American spent all his money on Ardbeg 1965, he would have more whisky than cents.

I had a big scrap about bourbon and American rye with him. Wherever he is I hope he's got plenty of aged sherried Macallan to hand and a few people to banter with.

If the missus found out he would also need to pay homage to Scotlands second most northerly distillery (to draw on your earlier pun also :D)
