Uneducated....worth a shot?

I have an unopened liquor commission stamped 1954 half gallon of Weller's Cabin Still Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. I am not educated on fine whiskey's (my apology) but am curious if this is just a grandfathers liquor cabinet inheritance or if it is worth anything? From my research it may only be worth the antique look of the bottle but I thought it wouldn't hurt to put it out there. I appreciate any insite or thoughts.
