includes

Aberfeldy, Connoisseurs Choice, 75cl, 40%, Distilled 1974
Referred to as the old "Map" label, this is a 75cl bottling so must have been
bottled before 1992. Not boxed, bold black writing as the distillery name. £80.00

Ardbeg, 30 years Old, Black Label/Black Wooden Box
Hooray!! We have another of these fantastic bottles up for grabs. This needs no further introduction what-so-ever. Just have a look around and see the price this is floating around at on other peoples sights. £295.00

Bruichladdich 10 y.o., Beige, 70cl, 40%
No box, Good presentation. This is the one before the compass label, I think?£75.00

Bruichladdich 10 y.o., Bruichladdich Distillery Co, 750ml, Beige Box with Red banding, 43%, Map on the box
Sexy bottle! Awesome presentation, cracking bottle, very good condition with box. For all the Bruichladdich Collectors out there this is a must! £100.00

Coleraine, 1959, 34 y.o, bottle no.358 of 400, 57.1%
They do not really come much rarer than this one. Drawn from a single cask that was laid down in 1959, only 400 bottles were done of this rare beastie. With regards to the presentation, they don't come much better. Due to scarcity, we would suggest when collecting this one to bring 'Securicor' with you. The collector who is selling this has also requested we do not have it on display. £1400.00

Dallas Dhu 18 y.o, 70cl, 48%, No.111, from The Last Cask Filled
Collection only on this rare fella. You know the story, closed distillery in 1983, now a museum, this was the last cask filled at the distillery, flashy box and presentation, bottle no 111, a wonderful piece of history on this one.£325.00

Dunhill Old Master, 750ml, 43% plus 50ml Miniature
Judging by its size, this one is from a few years ago, a wonderfully weird shaped bottle (I guess in the old days, they would have been used big style instead of Chianti bottles for candle stick holders in dimly lit restaurants?). Looks great, if anybody is interested in the miniature it would be £20 sold separately.

Glenflagler 23 year old, 51.3%, Burgundy presentation case.
This stunning bottle comes from independent bottler Signatory. Distilled 10/11/1972, bottled 26/06/1996, Cask number 228442, bottle number 218 of 255 a rare find from the distillery which closed in the early eighties. An absolute belter far more impressive than other bottlings. £350.00

Glenglassaugh, 12 year old, "Horse and Cart" 43%, 70cl.
Cream label with an artist drawn impression of a Horse and Cart. Not that easy to find Glenglassaugh as a distillery bottling although we do have an odd Family Silver and a 19 year old. £95.00

Glenmorangie Cognac Wood, 43%, boxed
Fantastic, sexy, great price, pretty damn rare.... need we say more.
Bottle number 125 of 850. £260.00

Glenturret, 12 y.o., 75cl, 40%
Wow! For those of you Glenturret afficianados out there this is a must. In beautiful condition this is the one that was I think 2 before the Glenturret 12 y.o. that you know and love. It comes boxed, not tubed and looks awesome. Black screw cap, with black neck label.£105.00

Glen Elgin 16 year old, The Manager's Dram
This is normally a fair bit more money than this, as it is one of the harder Manager's Drams to find. 60% Volume, bottled 1993, fantastic Sherry casked whisky. Very unusual. £240.00

Highland Park 2000, Cask Strength, 12 year old, tubed
There seems to be a Millennium thing going on here! This is the one everybody seemed to miss. Bottled at 55.7%, this is a 12 year old that comes in a snazzy modern style tube with a jazzy label. Bottle number 1624 of 2000. £200.00

Hazelburn, Set of three bottles with 3 different labels
There was an awful lot of controversy surrounding the release of these first release bottles, with a lot of financial speculation on ebay. We have secured one set, which is not to be split. A special vatting (not intentionally!) from four casks and very flavoursome - very different to the new edition.£260.00

Kinclaith, 1975, Signatory, Cask No 300029, bottle No 98/163
Distilled on 4th March 1975, and bottled 23rd July 2001, this is the black box presentation that has the bottle, a miniature and a glass. There is the usual Signatory certificate of authenticity that states the whisky is 9,638 days old etc.. This is a good price, we would rather not post this one out, so it may necessitate a trip to Skipton for this one. £895.00

amonugst others !

Just for the record, I am not the owner of the shop, its just I wanted to tell other whisky anoracks of this fab whisky firm.

Yeah i use these guys a lot. Popping in is a must, be be prepared to stay a while though as the whisky extends to two rooms, but if your after that rare or collectable malt, do ask, as they now have a new section, which isn'y advertised, but does inlcude many fantastic malts.

If your popping in or phoneing up, ask to speak to Julian or Katie. By the way its only about half an hour off junction 47 M1 perfect if your going further north.
