Buying something you didn't fancy just because it's cheap doesn't really make any sense to me. I also understand that it takes a while to get to know a whisky, hence buying a full bottle. Problem is you might just find you are going to get the same effect from the full bottle as you did from the sample. Also, you are obviously comparing the 18 to Lappys you already like. You've tasted the 18 now so you can say, curiosity satisfied. I'd spend the extra 25 bucks and get a bottle of both the QC and CS or as bcrossan said, grab an Indie you haven't tried yet.
