collectors woes

to any collectors out there....

do you have any bottles were the labels a lifting away from the bottle (usually the small neck label)

they are kept in a room ...not damp or cold

I have wrapped them tightly in card but any useful tips?

If it is too dry, in some very old bottles, then the glue might dry and the label falls off then. This a more frequent event with fake bottles...

I have some old Glenmos doing this- would prit-stick work!

Well when I got them they were already this this but I'm not overly worried.

Well, in Macallan's case, sort of! They bought some really old Macallan bottles from Italy for their distillery own collection only to discover that the contents were of considerably more recent provenance than the bottles and labels (which were probably genuine).
Oops!
After that their 'replica' series disappeared from the market for some reason. However if the bottles you're referring to have been in your possesion for some time I wouldn't worry.
