Wemyss Bottlings

Hello,

I have two bottles of Wemyss Vintage malts:

"Gala Melon" 1990 Single Cask Islay and

"Canadian Bacon" 1992 Single Cask Islay

both bottled on 15.4.05. Does anyone know which distiller the whiskies relate to.

It's hard to find info about those bottles online.

In the end I decided to simply email Wemyss asking them to settle a bet I had and I got a very prompt reply that the Gala Melon is a Bruichlaadich and the Canadian Bacon is a Coal Ila.

I got them from a shop in Chester called Corks Out, which had quite a good selection of bottles and very friendly service, so recommend it.

Had no luck in identifying them on the internet, although Whiskybase has a few bottling stored on its database.
