I've been buying Philadelphia brand whiskey for a few years now, and haven't had many complaints. Unfortunately I bought a bottle today and something was seriously wrong with it. It didn't taste or smell as strong as usual, and it was very sweet. We hardly got buzzed, but all got stomach pains.

Problem is I want to return it but was told NY law doesn't allow for liquor returns, and I can't find a website or number to call. Can anyone help me out? What should I do?

Late to the party here...
I once bought a Lagavulin that had a rotten cork. I called Diageo and they sent a "whisky ambassador" who hand-delivered a new bottle.
