Dun Bheagan Springbank

Postby bcrossan » Sun May 29, 2011 5:38 pm

Curious to know if anyone has tasted the Dun Bheagan Springbank 31yr 1974/2006 cask 1160? I know Astor Wines did one from 1970 that was good. I cannot find anything on the internet as far as reviews of the 74.

Thanks

Bryan,

I don't recall whether I've had this particular one. I've had a couple of DB Springbanks and they've been super. I will send you a suggestion on someone to talk to.

the only one listed for us ganga was mine:

Springbank 35yo 1969 (50%, Dun Bheagan, 1969-2004 cask 148 /516) R-9, M-9

Yep - and we liked it a lot...

I would say if the price is right for you Bryan.. jump at it.

(and note: I need to make a trip to TX)

St. Andrews bar in New York has a 31 yr DB Springbank that is fantastic. I'm not sure of the details on the bottlng though.
