Macallan 18s

Has anyone heard of the term 'Gold Label' being used for the range of Macallan 18years ? Seems to be for those spanning decades from 50s? to early 80s or so.

I notice that some of them also specifically say German import of Italian import. Does this affect the price ? What is the difference ?
