JJ&S Dublin Whiskey

Postby jenkins77 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 7:30 pm

I have acquired an old bottle of JJ&S Dublin whiskey and am trying to find some information, date, etc. about it. I have seen only one photo of a bottle that appears identical to mine and it was dated 1890. The bottom of the bottle reads:
W599
C
UGB

There is also a code on the back of the label that you can see through the bottle and it reads:
M239986

The bottle is unopened and in great condition. Please see attached photo.
Any information would be helpful.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Your bottle dates from the late 1950s to the 1960s.

JJ&S Liqueur whiskey was bottled for export.

You'll find examples on whiskyauction.com

UGB stands for United Glass Bottle a UK bottle manufacturing company formed in 1913.
