Blended and bottled by Sherriff & Co (Glasgow) Ltd.
I have seen a bottle of this in private ownership in recent days and wonder if there are folks in the forum who know of its pedigree. Sherriff & Co were owners of Bowmore 1925-1950 (Octomore (not OcHtomore) was a distillery in Port Charlotte and now being produced by Bruichladdich as a single malt.
Interestingly, the label on the bottle shows the content as 26 1/2 fluid ounces (not the usual 26 2/3) and at a strength of 25u.p. Any comments welcome regarding this unusual sized contents.
